Greek Cats

We’re big time cat lovers. In fact, whenever we see a cat, we automatically make a beeline towards it in the hope of a cheeky stroke or cuddle (especially Sam!) As it turned out, Greece is a cat lovers paradise. They were everywhere, and the locals all looked after them. On many occasions we saw people feeding cats on the street, or leaving little piles of dried catfood on stairways or footpaths. The result was very healthy cats, most of them very tame and happy to come up and say hello. We counted the number of cats we saw everyday and never got below 30 (the record was 70!).
